From Our Campers

"My son had just an awesome week – we have attended many hockey camps in previous summers and this was the best by far. Lots of fun, lots of work, and for me (mom), great supervision and the coaches were very approachable."

TT Blog - Feedback from camps

Ben had a fabulous time, loved the instructors.  I can already see a difference in his skating and confidence level.  I am grateful for the nutritional information.  It has been a great reinforcement for what I try to each him on my own.  Thank you!

Mom of Benjamin Howard, Forward, Castleton, VT

Very good coaching staff.  Ryan likes on-ice drills, likes learning terms and quizzes us every night.  As a parent- good coach/skater ratios.  Coaches helpful in the locker-room, great that they are there upon our arrival and know Ryan and his name.

Father of Ryan Clark, Forward, Essex Jct, VT

Not only did my son have a great overall experience at this week, he learned that having a role model at his age (12) is an important part of growing up.  And learning about nutrition and taking care of your body is a key part of being a good athlete… Thank you for caring so much about these young hockey players

Mother of Matthew Green, Littleton, MA

The staff was so professional and generous with their time and energy.  The week was incredibly well organized.  I felt so comfortable leaving my son who is relatively new to the game.  Thank you.

Mother of Davis Ritger, Forward, Maine

Drew has loved this camp!  Coaching and student-to-teacher ratio is outstanding!  We look forward to next year!

Mother of Drew Darger, Forward, MA

I wish I could give you some constructive criticism, but my boys never whine about anything you guys do.  The boys are always anxious to get to camp and never have any complaints.  They love it, they learn and have fun.  What’s not to like?

Mother of Garrett and Carson Moe, Castleton, VT

Awesome time.  My son was asking to come back next year the first day and was still asking at the end.  The coaches were all great.  We can’t wait to come back next year.  It was well worth the trip from New Brunswick.

Mother of Marcus Norrad, New Brunswick, Canada

We have been very pleased with the Tim Thomas hockey camp.  We signed up just our youngest this year as he is a goalie.  But after seeing the camp, we are signing up our 2 older boys (Forwards) as well for this summer.

Marc Bourque, Father of Jameson, Cooper and Cameron, Weare, NH

My son Owen has found the camp to be extremely valuable, especially the on-ice sessions and nutrition classes.  In fact, he is already making food choices based on what he learned about healthy eating.

Mother of Owen Webb, Goalie, Sherborn, MA

The focus was fantastic.  This is the first time our son has instruction all about him.  Camp was organized.  No time is wasted and most importantly, our son had fun and enjoyed everything from practice to nutrition to exercise.  He couldn’t wait to go back the next day.

Father of Christopher McCarthy, Goalie, Cranston, RI

Aidan has enjoyed TT hockey camp immensely!  Not only has it improved his understanding of the sport, he has learned skills to improve his game.  The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.  And it is very clear they love what they do!  Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Mother of Aidan Walters-Doyle, Defense, Melrose, MA

TT Hockey Camp is very well organized and run very well.  The kids all have a smile on their faces and enjoy the camp.  The camp was great!  That’s why we keep coming back!

Mother of Richard Lowrey, Forward, Charlotte, VT

Great total body camp.  Loved how you worked on the whole athlete and not just the game.

Mother of Sean and Brendan McElkenny, Wakefield, RI

Very happy with overall camp.  Will send again next year.  When picking up my son, I see it in his face that he cannot wait to tell me what he had learned that day in camp.  To see the smile on his face, I see his enjoying what he is learning and I see the excitement in him that I had when I played hockey at his age.

Father of Kyle Rancourt, Orange, MA

You catch every bad habit they come with and fix it!  Everyone is fabulous.

Mother of Daniel Berenson, Scarborough, Maine

This was Jason’s third year here, and he loves it more every year.  He feels he has really made some huge improvements this year, and he is thrilled about it.  He has loved being both on and off ice this year.  As for me, I think the camp gets more organized and flows better every year.

Mother of Jason Drebber, Goalie, Woodstock, VT

My son really enjoyed the variety of activities during the on-ice and dryland sessions.  I liked the various topics discussed during classroom sessions, including nutrition.  There is good diversity among the coaching staff.

Father of Austin Pomelow, Forward, Gorham, Maine

My seven year old was terrified to start camp on Monday- he had a stomach ache, he changed his mind about going to camp etc.  My appreciation and thanks go to his coaches for making camp so wonderful.  Daniel couldn’t wait to go back every day.

Mother of Daniel Drebber, Forward, Woodstock, VT

The energy of the camp is wonderful.  Pavel’s effort is noticed everywhere.  Camaraderie of the staff is evident and it helps make the energy of the entire camp positive and top notch.  Colin enjoyed it all; dryland training, nutritional talk, how to make your own sports drink, skills development on ice…  He had looked forward to this all winter and is looking forward to next year!

Parents of Colin Costello, Etna, NH

This is a great fun camp to start the summer.  Our son will be going every year that he can.

Mother of Nicholas Brownlee, Barre, VT

Great camp!  Plenty of knowledgeable goalie coaches and emphasis on the basics.  I especially like the way they took the Individual time to make sure each player did the drills correctly.  Patrick had a great time!

Father of Patrick Aalto, Goalie, Marstons Mills, MA

I think that every aspect of the camp has been a great experience for my son.  He is a quiet kid who doesn’t say a whole lot.  I wasn’t sure how he would like the camp, not knowing anyone and being in unfamiliar grounds.  However, this is my son Jacob’s second year and for the second time he has asked me if I can save my $ so he can come to TT hockey camp again.  He has told me every day after camp with excitement in his voice everything he did.  I can’t ask for any more than that!  Fantastic job to all.  Thanks again!

Father of Jacob Trowt, Forward, Wilmington, VT

Liam enjoyed the dryland training.  He liked learning the drills on ice in a different way than how he has been taught at other camps and clinics.  Liam wants to come back next year.  He’s had a great time and at the end of the day always said that he had fun.

Father of Liam Gosling, New Brunswick, Canada

This was Jacob’s 2nd year (1st as a goalie). Tim and Pavel gathered an extraordinary group of diverse experts that are both knowledgeable and remarkably positive teachers.  The individual attention Jacob received made a real difference for him.  He developed a fondness for his coaches that kept him focused on improving while having a great time.

Father of Jacob Kindestin, Barre, VT

“Camp really rocks”- Benjamin.  He had a terrific experience at camp and is already talking about next year.

Father of Benjamin Israel, 8, Brunswick, Maine

We think the camp is great!  We love that in the past three years many of the coaches have returned.  All of the coaches do an outstanding job of teaching and interacting with our children.

Mother of Marshall Lindley, Barre, VT

This was Sam’s third year.  He gains strength and confidence from the staff.  We couldn’t ask for more when his week is done.  He loves to work with all coaches.  It’s so great the coaches are willing to give so much and share the love of the sport with the kids.

Mather of Samuel Barr, Goalie, Barre, VT

This was our first year at the Tim Thomas hockey camp.  I am very impressed with the entire experience.  My son asked if he could return next year after the first day!!!  He had a great time!

Kelly Shield, mother of Cody Bragg, W. Chesterfield, NH

This is our 3rd year coming to camp and our son looks forward to it every year.

Mother of Chad Dupuis, Newport, VT

I couldn’t believe how much our son enjoyed camp.  He just couldn’t wait to get back the next day.  Not only did his ability improve, but his confidence level grew as well.  This camp experience will be a great thing for him to carry into the upcoming season!

Father of Michael Sosik, Goalie Fiskdale, MA

Matthew learned so much this week.  And most importantly did it while having FUN!  He absolutely adored his coaches and loved the whole camp experience this week...  As a parent, I loved the low player to coach ration, which I think contributed to his tremendous growth this week.

Mother of Matthew Strickland, Newbury, NH
