From Our Campers

"My son had just an awesome week – we have attended many hockey camps in previous summers and this was the best by far. Lots of fun, lots of work, and for me (mom), great supervision and the coaches were very approachable."

FAQs

Question Are the hockey camps for skaters and goalies?

Question Yes, the Camps are for Forwards, Defense and Goalies.   Boys and Girls.  We have camps for skaters (forwards and defense) and separate goalie-specific sessions and training.

QuestionAre these Overnight or Day Camps?

Question Day Camps

QuestionWhat is the age requirement?

Question The youth camps are for ages: 5 - 18. Players are divided into small groups based on age and skill level.  Camps sell out and we have great groups at every age level.

QuestionAre the camps for beginners, intermediate, or advanced? Do you have all ages on the ice?

Question We run successful hockey camps where players have fun, work hard and most importantly, learn. Our players are divided into groups based on age and skill level; groups in which they can improve and learn. Also, we only run one camp per week to fully understand each player's needs and for each player to train with our top staff.

QuestionWhat does a typical day look like?

Question Typically, players have 3 hours of ice time every day. Since we are teaching overall hockey development, players also have off-ice classroom sessions, where they learn fundamentals, positioning, strategy, special teams play, nutrition, and general hockey knowledge. Then players go to a dryland session for conditioning, flexibility, agility, games and stretching. Video sessions focus on technical as well as fun aspects. Game sessions are fun and bring it all together. Our sessions are tailored specifically for each age group. Players move from one station to the next. Little down-time, fun, entertaining and always with new wrinkles to put smiles on everyone’s face, improve and learn.

QuestionFor the older advanced players, do you have qualified counselors and shooters or are they siblings, etc.?

Question We are offering a well-run camp; no siblings as counselors or shooters. Even the best 17-year old player has a lot to learn at our hockey camp to advance to the next level, and I want to offer the best instruction. Our coaching staff includes college players, current pro, youth and college coaches. Click here for parent feedback.

QuestionMy son is a goalie and was wondering how much time will be spent on goalie drills since your school is for forwards, defense and goalies? Are they mainly there for the others to shoot on? I have a concern with the school being for so many positions and not focusing on one.

Question

Goalies are automatically placed in our Goalie-specific Camp where they receive goalie-specific coaching on and off the ice in goalies-only sessions. They learn goaltending fundamentals, specific drills, routines used by the best goalies in the world, video analysis, and the important behind-the-scenes knowledge that they will not get anywhere else.

Hockey is a team sport. We are including all positions in our camps because players cannot become better athletes without understanding the different positions on the ice.

QuestionMy son is a forward. What will he get out of the camp?

Question We offer a total hockey skills development camp.  Forwards and defense are divided into groups according to their age and skill level. In our on and off-ice sessions, we focus on fundamentals first: skating, passing, receiving passes, stick-handling, agility, quickness, shooting, shot-blocking, checking and making the correct decisions. We introduce players to a total development, modeled after our experiences in North America and Europe.  Pavel Navrat grew up playing hockey in the Czech Republic, then came to North America to play D1 college hockey on a full scholarship, helping the University of Vermont reach the NCAA D1 Frozen Four.  He focuses on individual skills development, mental preparation, execution, having fun and working hard.

QuestionMy son is a 6 year old goalie, is he old enough for the camp? Thank you very much.  We are looking forward to this summer.

Question Yes, we have many 6-year old campers; your son is old enough. Players will be divided into groups based on age and skill level. We've had players as young as 4, if they are mature enough to learn at our camp.

QuestionWhat is the coach to player ratio?

QuestionAbout 4-to-1. We run quality camps with a very qualified coaching staff- our commitment is for every player to receive special individual attention, have fun and improve. Remember that we run only one camp per week,

so we are there to offer the best summer hockey experience.

QuestionSince you have Day Camps, do you offer accommodations for out-of-state campers and their families?

QuestionA large number of players (and their families) come to our camps as part of their vacation from all around the United States and abroad. We work with local hotels and campgrounds to provide recommendations and better rates. Feel free to contact us with specific questions.

QuestionDo you run any camps for adults?

QuestionYes, we are doing Adult Camps in Falmouth, ME. Typical day consists of 30 minutes Dryland, 30 minutes Classroom/Video/Hockey knowledge, 15 min to get dressed for on-ice session, 1 hour on the ice. These camps are a lot of fun with a lot of hard work, resulting in camaraderie, new friendships and improvement for a better understanding and enjoyment of the game.

QuestionAre the Adult Camps appropriate for all ages and skill levels?

Question The camp is for players and goalies of all ages and skill levels.  We teach fundamentals that everyone can improve, breaking players into groups according to their skill level. Everybody is challenged and gets appropriate coaching.  This is a fun group with a lot of camaraderie.  Adults are in our camp to learn, get better, ask questions and it makes it very enjoyable for all of us. You will get out of the camp as much as you want and

as much as you are willing to put into it.  It is a lot of fun and hard work.  Read Adult Camp feedback here.
